Overview
The Algo 1205 Audio Interface is a compact and versatile accessory that enables the connection of a microphone and music source to the Algo 8301 paging adapter. Designed for environments that require seamless integration of background music or live announcements, the 1205 provides an easy and effective way to enhance paging and audio broadcast systems across IP networks.
With its three-position rotary control knob, users can quickly switch between music, microphone, or off modes. Once connected to the 8301, the selected input is automatically detected and broadcast over multicast to Algo IP speakers or compatible multicast-enabled devices. The 8301’s line output also allows simultaneous distribution to traditional analog paging systems, offering a reliable bridge between modern and legacy audio infrastructures.
Whether providing background music in a retail setting or enabling live announcements via microphone in a school or public building, the 1205 simplifies input management. Compatible with standard 3.5mm stereo music sources and dynamic microphones using XLR, this interface ensures high-quality audio performance, flexible deployment, and intuitive control.
