Overview

The Algo 8028V is a Vandal-Proof IP Doorphone ideal for use in business or school entrances. This SIP-based intercom is suitable for use in even the most demanding environments.

Designed for high-security locations, the tamper-resistant doorphone features a solid anodised aluminium faceplate, and weather-resistant housing. With the option to either surface or flush mount, the Algo 8028V can be installed to suit the individual application.

The device supports Power over Ethernet (PoE), secure SIP communication, and simple configuration through a web interface or automated provisioning, making it easy to integrate with most hosted or on-premise VoIP systems.

How Do I Use the Algo 8028V Doorphone?

To use it, visitors press the illuminated call button on the intercom station to start a call, which sends a signal through to a configured SIP extension such as a security desk or hunt group. Once answered, two-way voice communication begins and authorised staff can unlock the entrance by entering a keypad code on their phone.
