Overview

The DrayTek VigorSwitch PQ1070x is a compact, Smart Lite managed 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet switch designed to deliver high-speed networking and Power over Ethernet (PoE+) for modern business environments. Combining five 2.5GbE PoE+ ports with two 10Gb SFP+ uplink ports, it provides an ideal solution for connecting Wi-Fi 6/6E access points, IP cameras, VoIP phones, NAS devices and other bandwidth-intensive applications while maintaining exceptional network performance.

With a total PoE power budget of 75W and up to 30W available per port, the VigorSwitch PQ1070x simplifies installations by delivering both power and data over a single Ethernet cable. This reduces infrastructure costs and makes it easier to deploy network devices where power outlets may not be readily available.

The switch includes an intuitive web-based management interface that provides access to essential Layer 2 networking features, allowing administrators to optimise traffic, improve network security and maintain reliable operation. Support for VLANs, Quality of Service (QoS), IGMP Snooping, Storm Control and Loop Detection helps ensure efficient traffic management while prioritising critical services such as voice, video conferencing and business applications.

Dual 10Gb SFP+ uplink ports provide high-speed fibre connectivity for aggregation switches, servers or storage, preventing uplink bottlenecks as network demand grows. The fanless design delivers silent operation, making the switch suitable for offices, meeting rooms, retail locations and other noise-sensitive environments, while its compact housing allows flexible desktop or wall-mounted installation.
