Overview

The DrayTek VigorSwitch PQ2300xb is a high-performance Layer 2+ managed Multi-Gigabit switch engineered for organisations that require high-speed connectivity, advanced network management and powerful Power over Ethernet (PoE) capabilities. Featuring 24 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet and 6 10Gb SFP+ uplink ports, it provides the bandwidth and flexibility needed by demanding business networks.

Designed for Wi-Fi 6 and Wi-Fi 6E, IP surveillance, VoIP, network storage and other high-bandwidth applications, the PQ2300xb delivers a substantial 400W PoE power budget. The first eight ports support IEEE 802.3bt PoE++ for power-hungry devices, while the remaining provide up to 30W PoE+, allowing a wide range of equipment to be powered directly through the network cable.

With comprehensive Layer 2+ functionality, including VLAN routing, static routing and an integrated DHCP server, these enable efficient traffic management and improved performance across multiple subnets. Advanced security features (DHCP Snooping, IP Source Guard, Access Control Lists and 802.1X authentication) help safeguard business networks against unauthorised access and network threats.

The six 10Gb SFP+ uplink ports eliminate bottlenecks by providing high-speed connectivity to servers, storage arrays and core infrastructure. Combining enterprise-class performance, flexible PoE options and scalable Multi-Gigabit networking, the VigorSwitch PQ2300xb is an ideal core switch for growing businesses, education, hospitality and professional IT environments.
