Overview

The Fanvil A710 3CX SBC is a dedicated Session Border Controller (SBC) appliance designed to provide a secure and reliable connection between local SIP devices and a cloud-hosted 3CX phone system. Purpose-built for distributed organisations, branch offices, retail chains and remote locations, the A710 simplifies VoIP deployments by securely routing SIP signalling and media traffic between on-site IP phones and the central 3CX PBX. Rather than functioning as a desk phone, the A710 acts as a gateway, reducing network complexity while improving security and deployment efficiency.

Supporting up to 100 registered endpoints and 50 simultaneous calls, the A710 is well suited to small and medium-sized business sites requiring dependable SIP connectivity. It enables multiple compatible SIP devices to communicate with a hosted 3CX platform through a single secure connection, reducing firewall configuration requirements and simplifying NAT traversal. This makes the appliance particularly valuable for organisations with multiple remote offices or locations that need straightforward, centrally managed VoIP connectivity.

The A710 features dual 10/100Mbps Ethernet ports, Power over Ethernet (PoE) support and an alternative 5V DC power input for flexible installation. Comprehensive networking capabilities include IPv4/IPv6 dual stack support, VLAN, QoS, OpenVPN, L2TP and TLS encryption, helping to maintain secure and stable communications across business networks. Remote provisioning, firmware upgrades and web-based management further simplify ongoing administration and maintenance.

Designed specifically for 3CX environments, the Fanvil A710 provides an efficient way to deploy cloud-based telephony without the need for a traditional on-site PBX.
