With the excellent voice quality and reliability of the DECT cordless phones we are seeing a new range of DECT bases coming to market that enable users to make and receive calls whilst away from their work desk and covering much larger areas than the standard bases can cover.

These DECT Roaming bases are ideal for business users that are often away from their desk but need to be able to make, receive and remain in call whilst moving around their company premises. Typical applications for these DECT Roaming systems are: large car dealerships, large retail premises, large offices possibly on multiple floors, manufacturing operations and large residential premises.

*Number of supported handsets on Snom M900 system is reduced to 2 calls (Max 508 / system) in wide band and 5 calls (Max 1,270 / system) in narrow band when repeaters are in use.

**New firmware for the Snom M900 is due Summer 2021. The updated firmware will increase the number of supported base stations to 1,000 and 4,000 handsets.
