What is a Bridge Kit?

A bridge kit is a long-range wireless solution designed to connect 2 or more locations without the need for physical cables. The bridge kits are made up of 2 devices; a main access point and client access point. The main AP will connect to a router by Ethernet. Once connected, the client AP connects wirelessly to extend coverage. Operating on the most optimised bandwidth available, bridge kits enable stable high-speed communication across distances ranging from 1 - 5 km.

Can a Bridging Kit be Used Indoors or Outdoors?

TP Link Bridge Kits are built for indoor and outdoor use. The kit comes preconfigured for instant deployment, as the devices automatically pair as soon as they are switched on. These devices can be used point-to-point or point-to-multi-point to extend the coverage. Both the EAP200 and EAP215 allow up to 4 devices to be connected, and the EAP100 supports 3.
