Overview

The Yealink VCM36-W is a wireless expansion microphone designed to improve audio coverage in medium and large meeting rooms. Built for use with compatible Yealink video conferencing systems, the device provides flexible microphone placement without the complexity of additional cabling. It uses a built-in 3-microphone array and Yealink’s proprietary audio processing technologies to deliver clear voice capture for hybrid meetings and conference calls.

The microphone supports 360° voice pickup with a range of up to 6 metres (20 feet), helping capture voices clearly from all areas of the room. Yealink’s Noise Proof Technology and acoustic echo cancellation reduce environmental distractions and improve speech clarity during full-duplex conversations. Wireless connectivity uses dual-band Wi-Fi with WPA2 and AES128 encryption for secure communication between the microphone and compatible conferencing devices. This can an be used alongside the A20 and A30 Meeting bars. The A20 supports the connection of 1 VCM36-W and the A30 supports the connection of 2.

The VCM36-W includes a built-in rechargeable battery offering up to 12 hours of conference use and up to 7 days of standby time, with a charging dock included for convenient deployment. The wireless design allows microphones to be positioned freely around a room, making the solution suitable for flexible meeting spaces or rooms where running cables is impractical.
